Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers sold 10.00 to 15.00 higher. Compared to last week slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher and bulls sold 3.00 higher. Demand was good for feeders coming out of grow yards or off very short, dry summer grass. Good demand was also noted on slaughter and feeding cows with quite a lot of cows going back to feedlots. Spotty rain showers in different areas of the state late in the week. Few, reports of 1.50" on some areas!.
