Compared to two weeks ago slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady. Demand was good with most of the cows returning to feed. Couple high dressing slaughter bulls setting a new record at Torrington Livestock Market. Dry weather continues and cattlemen continue to slowly downsize herds. Hay prices have jumped up with large squares hitting around the 270.00 to 350.00 at ton for hay going to the ranchers.
