Compared to last week, calves and feeders to lightly tested for an adequate market trend. How ever a higher undertone was noted. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher and bulls sold steady. Demand was good throughout the week. Several load lots of heifers and steers on Wednesday's feeder cattle sale with active bidding from in house buyers and the internet. Bulk of the feeders this week sold due to dry range conditions. Some scattered rain showers but still not enough moisture for grass growth to maintain a large group of cattle on summer range in some areas. Plus, watering conditions is also a concern as dugout and stock ponds are low.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
