Compared to last week steers less than 500 lbs sold sharply higher. Steers from 500 to 800 lbs sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher with 6 weights trading 10.00 higher. Fly-weight heifers sold sharply higher. With 400 to 700 lbs trading 10.00 to 20.00 higher. Most slaughter cows sold steady, except lean feeding cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher, bulls sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower on the average kind. Demand was good for calves and feeders with moderate to good demand for cows and bulls.
