Compared to last week flyweight steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Steers calves over 450 lbs sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher with yearling steers steady to 2.00 higher. Heifer calves sold 4.00 to 6.00 higher and yearlings fully steady. Slaughter and feeder cows sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower and slaughter bulls sold steady. Heavy supply of light fleshed or thin cows making there way to the feedlots as buyers are hoping to add weight and turn the cows for a profit. Most buyers continue to seek calves with fall pre-condition shots as health is usually better after all the stress they occur leaving momma's side and getting to there new home. In comparison from last year's bred heifer and cow sale (11/11/19). Monday's bred heifers on average sold 33.00 per head on less than a year ago and solid mouth cows sold 40.00 per head less. Not much lower considering the large drought in a big area and short winter feed and who knows where the calf market will be at this time next year!!

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
