Compared to last week not enough calves and feeders for an adequate market comparison. Feeding cows traded 2.00 to 3.00 lower and slaughter cows traded 3.00 to 4.00 higher on comparable trades. Demand was good for all reported classes of cattle. Hot dry weather continues across majority of the state. This week, by the drought monitor a most of WY is in a moderate drought. Hay producers have been very busying running water on fields to aid hay growth. Hay producers noted that local buying interest on hay has been very good. On a normal year, majority of the small and large square bales are shipped out of the region.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Wyoming barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
