Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 2.00 lower except 500-600 lbs 4.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 750 lbs 1.00 to 3.00

lower, over 750 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 lower. Moderate to good demand this week, much more demand exists for a light weight, under 600 lbs,

steer and heifer calf than does for heavier weights. With the CME Live Cattle futures taking a bearish tone and rolling back beneath 120.00

for April, which is the time of year where supplies of fed cattle are normally the tightest, cattle feeders are really feeling defensive about the

fed cattle market again. There was a lot of optimism for the spring months but now with the board projecting much lower prices cattle

feeders are very concerned about more losses on outgoing cattle. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower, bulls steady.
