Compared to last week steers less than 600 lbs sold steady, 600 to 800 lbs sold 7.00 to 10.00 higher, 800 to 1000 lbs sold steady to 3.00 lower. Heifers less than 600 lbs sold 10.00 higher, 600 to 800 lbs sold 2.00 to 9.00 higher and over 800 lbs sold fully steady. Demand was good for calves, feeders and bred cows and heifers. Quite a few of the lightweight calves are heading south for winter grazing or will be grown slowly and kicked out on summer grass in 2026. Feedlots also jumped into the market to back fill empty pens. Knowing that auction receipts will be almost nil until the first week in January of the new year. Nice run of bred cows and heifers reported this week with the market holding firm on selling prices. Feedlot sales jumped up for the second week in a row. Lives sales sold 3.00 to 5.00 higher from 225.00 to 228.00 and dressed sales sold 10.00 higher from 350.00 to 355.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
