Compared to last week light calves are sharply higher. Steers and heifers over 700 lbs sold 8.00 to 15.00 higher. Demand was good to very good throughout the week for all offerings on hand. Bulk of the offerings came off summer grass and sold in light flesh with most of the weigh-up conditions in the buyers favor. Some cattle did come from grow-yards, but the producers did a good job on keeping flesh scores in the medium range by USDA Market News standards. Feedlots started to trade parts of show list on Wednesday and continued until Friday. Live sales sold fully steady to 2.00 higher at 245.00 and dressed sales sold 5.00 to 7.00 higher from 385.00 to 292.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
