Compared to last week steers over 800 lbs sold mostly 7.00 to 9.00 higher with 950 weight trading steady. Heifers over 750 lbs sold 6.00 higher. Demand was good for the short supply of cattle on hand. Crops look very good in many areas of the state with several dryland fields might produce close to irrigated acres as some areas have had over 20 inches of rain. Haying has been a struggle but there has been some dry hay baled in certain areas of the state. Negotiated cash feedlot trade ranged from 243.00 to 245.00 on a live basis and 380.00 to 385.00 on a dressed basis.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
