Compared to last week steers less than 700 lbs sold steady to 7.00 higher over 700 lbs sold 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Heifers less than 500 lbs sold 15.00 higher. 500 to 700 lbs sold steady and over 700 lbs sold 10.00 higher. Demand was good to very good for the short list of calves on feeders on hand this week. Wintery weather and poor roads cut receipts at some auction markets early in the week. Calf and feeder cattle markets continues to make new highs almost every week. Feedlot managers held tough and traded their show-list sharply higher than last week. Live sales sold 6.00 to 9.00 higher from 212.00 to 215.00 and dressed sales sold 10.00 higher at 335.00.
