Compared to last week, steers less than 700 lbs sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher, over 700 lbs sold steady to 4.00 higher. Heifers sold unevenly steady throughout the week. Demand was moderate to good, depending on they days the CME cattle boards traded higher. Demand was good for bred heifers and cows. Some moisture across the state either in rain, snow or both. Hopefully Mother Nature will continue to provide some moisture throughout the year. Several people that place yearlings on summer grass were gathering livestock this week as they are trying fill summer grass. Area feedlots traded show-list for higher money on Friday. Dressed and live sales sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher from 315.00 to 317.00 and 200.00 to 202.00 respectively.
