Compared to last week, steers sold unevenly steady. Heifer calves sold 3.00 to 7.00 higher with feeder heifers trending fully steady. Demand was good for the late spring offering of calves and feeder cattle. Another week of heavy rain across the midlands halting planting. Several reports of cattlemen having to drive cattle further than normal due to impassible country roads as they move pairs or yearlings to summer grass. Feedlots continue to loose footing in the harvest cattle price as dressed sales sold steady to 2.00 lower from 183.00-186.00 and live sales sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower from 115.00-116.00.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
