Due to the summer sale schedule and the new release date of this report, there is not a comparable market report from last week for an adequate trend comparison. Weekly information comprises of fall calves and yearling feeders. Some of the receipts came off of early spring grass pastures. Demand was moderate to good for calves and feeders cattle with good demand noted on cow/calf pairs. Feedlots sold some of their show list on Thursday with live sales trading from 113.00-115.00 and dressed sales from 183.00-186.00. Some areas of the state received rain and others areas were lucky to stay dry for the last few days. Quite a few, farmers trying to finish up on spring planting and some producers have cut and baled first cutting of alfalfa.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Nebraska barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
