Compared to last week: Too few spring born steer and heifer calves offered last week to allow a comparison with this week. Yearling feeder steers and heifers sold with unevenly steady undertones as the comparison was very limited. Moderate demand for calves as the offering is still rather limited, much more demand for steer calves than for heifers as the price spread between the two is about 20.00. Good demand remains for yearlings right off grass but cattle feeders are treading a little more carefully as the CME Live Cattle contracts declined 3.00 and cash fed cattle sales rolled back to 105.00-108.00. Larger auction receipts expected next week.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the North Dakota barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
