Compared to last week: Only 1 reported auction this week, too few offered to make a complete comparison. Demand moderate to good, good demand for those light fleshed and weight cattle that can go to grazing programs, only moderate for those cattle bound for finishing yards. Cash fed cattle market remains at a depressed level as many cattle feeders report they can't even secure a bid on their fat cattle. Cattle futures contracts posted two consecutive days of limit and expanded limit gains helped to give cattle producers a little optimism as they have been suffering huge losses while packers are making giant profits.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the North Dakota barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
