were purchased to develop into yearlings. Calves over 750 lbs were in mostly moderate to fleshy in condition. Demand for calves to develop
into yearlings was mostly good to very good, while feedlot ready cattle sold on mostly light to moderate demand. Offerings this week were
light to moderate. Market activity this week was mostly active. Weight up cows sold on mostly moderate demand. Packers showed stronger
demand for slaughter cows this week as a large portion of the cow offering went to slaughter. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady on breaking
and boning cows, lean cows sold steady to weak. Feeding cow demand was mostly light to moderate this week. Feeding cows sold generally
steady on a lower quality offering. Slaughter bulls were too lightly tested to develop an accurate market trend, however steady undertones
were noticed. Young age cows suitable to feed or re-breed sold mostly 5.00-8.00 higher. Quality this week was mostly average to attractive.
