Compared to last Wednesday, feeder steers under 500 lbs and fleshy calves steady, over 500 lbs 5.00-10.00 higher. Feeder heifers 4.00-8.00 higher except a few under 450 lbs steady. Slaughter cows 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand moderate for unweaned calves and very good for yearlings. Supply moderate. The momentum that began in the feeder market last week is still picking up steam with another small gain in fed cattle prices looking very possible.
