Compared to last week, steers and heifers not well tested except steers over 800 lbs sold steady to 5.00 lower. Supply light again this week. Demand was moderate to good. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly steady. Compared to last week, limited trading of Kansas negotiated fed cattle sold steady to 2.00 lower at 256.00. In the hay market This past week, much of the state received beneficial moisture, providing needed relief to hay fields and row crops. The improved moisture conditions contributed to a slight decline in hay demand and movement as immediate forage concerns eased in some areas.
