Compared to last week, all classes of cattle not well tested this week as only 1 auction had a sale this week. Supply very light. Compared to last week, limited trading of Kansas negotiated fed cattle sold 2.00 to 4.00 higher at 258.00 to 260.00. In the hay market the past couple weeks, much of the state received beneficial moisture, providing needed relief to hay fields and row crops. The improved moisture conditions contributed to a slight decline in hay demand and movement as immediate forage concerns eased in some areas.

Head, weight ranges, average weights and price ranges are exactly as USDA AMS filed them — nothing recomputed, nothing rounded — in USDA's own reporting structure. This is RaisedBeef's rendering of that data, not a copy of USDA's document.
Source: USDA AMS, as filed — nothing recomputed and nothing rounded. This summary aggregates the same sales the Kansas barn reports cover, so it must never be added to a state total built from those barns.
