Ample supply of quality Feeders for the first in barn sale of the season, majority of offering yearling type cattle and most had a vaccination guarantee. Unusual amount of rainfall in N. Central WV throughout August and the stockers coming off pasture for this sale in good flesh. Demand remained firm with prices trending higher than recent weekly sales which follows with the quality and numbers today. Looking back at the last month's board sale demand trends seem lower, however, it isn't an apples-to-apples comparison between these two types of sales.
