Warm weather and some rainfall over the past two weeks shoring up stocker producer's pasture availability in N. Central WV. Compared to the board sale two weeks ago Feeder steers sold steady to $6-7 per cwt lower. Demand slightly lower for light Feeder Heifers by $10 on the lighter breaks while remaining steady for the heavier end of the run. Considering that buyer confidence and demand are higher for board sale lots this sale expressed the high demand for Feeders locally and looking at the strong Futures for when they are marketed later this year. Roughly half the offerings had a vaccination guarantee which is reflected on this report as value added. Red white face Steers represented as Medium 2. The results of the board sale lot offered today reported as Medium and Large 1-2. Small run of Feeder Bulls, no market test.
