Compared to last Thursday, stocker and feeder cattle firm in a light test. The feeder cattle futures market ended the session $0.67 to $1.15 in the red on Thursday. The CME Feeder Cattle Index was $188.72 on 3/8, up by another 39 cents. Slaughter Cows 3.00-4.00 higher. Slaughter bulls firm. Trade very active with very good demand. Beef export sales were 5,570 MT for the week that ended 3/2. South Korea had a 1,100 MT cancelation. Beef shipments were 13k MT for the week, bringing the season's total to 137,667 MT.
