Compared to last Thursday, not enough stocker or feeder cattle offered last week for accurate trend comparisons. Buyer attendance was good. CME Feeder cattle prices were 17 to 37 cents weaker on the board on Wednesday. The CME Feeder Cattle Index for 3/8 was down by 22 cents to $153.89. Slaughter cows 1.00-5.00 higher. Slaughter bulls 6.00-7.00 higher in a light test. Trade active with good demand. Weekly beef export sales were reported at 27,484 MT, which were the most since May 20th of 2021. Exports were 15,905 MT bringing the season’s total to 133,810 MT.
