Reporter comment USDA

As filed

Compared to last Thursday, not enough stocker or feeder cattle this week for accurate trends. Most offerings today where small lots and singles. CME feeders were down having closed $2.47 to $4.47 in the red. The 2/23 CME Feeder Cattle Index was another 44 cents weaker to $161.82. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls firm in a light test. Trade active with good demand on reduced receipts.
