Heifers under 500 lbs were too lightly tested to develop a market trend. 500 to 600 lbs were steady on a light test. 600 lbs and up were 4.00 to 8.00 lower. Demand was good for this nice offering of mostly smaller packages of home raised, fully vaccinated calves. There were active and optimistic buyers, both in the stands and on the internet, hopeful that next week's storm is going to bring much needed moisture.
