Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers under 600 lbs, steady to 2.00 higher; 600 to 700 10.00 to 15.00 higher; over 700 lbs, 5.00 higher. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs, sold steady to 2.00 higher; 600 to 650 lbs, 10.00 higher on a light test; 650 to 700 lbs, steady on a light test; over 700 lbs, 10.00 lower. Demand was very good for this nice offering of quality steers and heifers, that were mostly weaned up and fully vaccinated. Packages and load lots sold on an active market with lots of buyers in the stands. Buyers are optimistic despite the war in Ukraine and the lack of winter snow pack, as spring weather sets in with lots of prayers for rain. The next sale is a Bred Cow special, on April 1, selling all classes. The next Feeder Calf special is in two weeks.
