Compared to last Wednesday's Spring Calf Special: Steer Calves 350-550, 7.00 - 10.00 lower; 550-650lbs, mostly steady. Heifer Calves 400-450lbs, 5.00 lower; 450-500lbs, 10.00 lower; 500-550lbs, mostly steady. Good demand for todays offering of mostly fully vaccinated spring calves, fresh from grass, carrying light to medium flesh. Some were showing some tag from the much needed storm that came through the day before and the likely muddy trip to the sale barn. The market was very active, despite fewer buyers in the seats. The next Feeder Calf sale is Friday, November 1.
