Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 4.00 to 7.00 higher. Solid demand seen from packer buyers with plenty of uniform lots and loads to choose from. The offering consisted of lighter cattle to add more weight to, all the way up to cattle that have had a healthy amount of cracked corn in their diet. A handful of the cattle displayed mud with most showing good condition overall.

Compared to last week: Slaughter lambs 10.00 to 30.00 lower. Feeder lambs sharply lower with limited comparisons. Slaughter ewes 5.00 to 15.00 lower. Moderate demand seen throughout a majority of this substantial offering of slaughter lambs. Demand for feeder lambs and bred ewes going back to the producer tapered off as well.
