As filed

Compared to the sale last week: Light sale today, as bitterly cold temperatures and snowy roads cover the area. Choice slaughter steers were mostly 1.00 higher. Choice slaughter heifers mostly 1.00-2.00 lower. Not enough dairy steers for comparison. Many load lots of quality cattle offered today, along with numerous smaller packages. Good demand. Slaughter cows: Breaker cows steady to 1.00 higher. Too light a test on boner and lean cows. Limited number of bulls. No comparison.

Slaughter sheep: Limited numbers today, due to the snowstorms and frigid temperatures in the area. Slaughter lambs in the 100 lb range were 4.00 lower. Short supply of ewes today, no comparison. Next week expect another large run of bred ewes. Nice offering of quality goats today, bringing a premium.
