Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold 3.00 higher and slaughter heifers sold 2.00 higher. Holstein steers sold fully steady. Demand was moderate to good. Quite a few handy weight steers returned back to the country. Most lots of slaughter steers and heifers were BQA certified and some sold as non-implanted. Several packages and load lots of one iron, home raised cattle in the run. Slaughter cows sold unevenly steady and slaughter bulls steady.

Compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold 2.00 lower. Slaughter ewes sold 5.00 lower. Feeder lambs not well tested. Demand was moderate to good for lambs and ewes. Ewe quality not as eye appealing as last week. Slaughter goats sold steady on a thin test. Demand was good for the short supply of goats.
