Compared to last week: Harvest steers and heifers sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower, Holstein steers sold 5.00 lower. Demand was good with several packers bidding readily for Wednesday's offering of longtime fed steers and heifers. Several lots were home raised and several full loads were on hand. CME cattle boards traded higher in the last two days, even though the market was lower on the cash side of things the upward tick in the board brighten most sellers moods. Very few, two way cattle on hand. Harvest cows and bulls sold steady. Rain and some tornado activity blew through with some damage reported North of the Sioux Falls Regional sales pavilion along with rain reports of up to 5 inches.

Harvest lambs and goats sold steady with not enough feeder lambs for an adequate market test. Moderate demand for harvest lambs, good demand for harvest ewes and moderate to good demand for the light run of feeder lambs.
