As filed

Compared to last week: Slaughter steers and heifers 3.00 to 5.00 higher, Holstein steers 8.00 to 10.00 higher. Moderate demand from packer buyers, good demand from two-way cattle buyers. A nice offering of high quality steers and heifers in a fair weighing condition. Estimated dressed cost looked to range from 164.00-169.00. Two way buyers were active this week as there were buyers for those cattle needing more days on feed while also there were additional buyers for cattle to fill contracts. Packer buyers were very selective, cattle that brought the top of the market range had to be black hided. Slaughter cows steady to 2.00 lower, bulls steady.

Compared to last week slaughter lambs steady to 1.00 higher. Ewes mostly steady. Feeder lambs not well compared. Moderate to good demand for slaughter lambs, good demand for slaughter ewes, good demand for the limited offering of feeder lambs.
