As filed

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly steady. Very good demand for yearling steers and heifers. The market was very active for this seasonal run of feeder cattle. 1 big consignment of 800 head of steers offered in multiple load lots, with 7 full loads in the main sort, a couple of other long strings offered in full loads as well. The flesh condition was attractive overall as majority of the cattle were in a light to moderate flesh condition. As the cash fed cattle market continues to hold around 240.00, leaving a positive basis of basically 20.00, there is great interest to buy these yearlings.
