As filed

First reported sale in recent weeks so a price trend can not be established. Many packages and just a handful of loads made up today's offering with quite a few consignments of high quality, home raised heifers which were sent back to the country to make cows. Very good demand for these heifers, moderate to good demand for remaining packages and loads as quality on these varied quite a bit today. Quite a few green, light cattle which could go to grass and buyers are still competitive on these cattle. Flesh condition moderate to moderate plus overall with very few finishing type cattle in today's offering. An active market despite a negative day on both feeder and live cattle futures. The area received heavy, wet snow and some rain mixed in over the last few days, much welcome moisture for this dry country. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, April 17, featuring fall calves.
