Compared to last week: steers 850 to 899 lbs 3.00 to 4.00 higher, 900 to 999 lbs 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Today's offering consisted almost entirely of a string of backgrounded steers from one family operation. Flesh and quality the same as last week as this was the same family and the steers were treated in the same manner. An active market with a few less buyers than normal attending the sale. At this time the live and feeder cattle futures are positive after losses the last few days. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
