This is the first reported sale in recent months, no price trend is available. A light yearling offering for today with the majority of the cattle coming from two consignors and selling in load lots. A few packages rounded out the rest of the offering. Good demand for loads, moderate to good for packages. Flesh mostly light to moderate with all the cattle coming off grass. Quality varied, from plain to attractive. A moderate to active market seen for this offering with the uncertainty of the futures market the last week putting some pressure on the market. The weather is much cooler this week but the heat the last two weeks have most of the area hoping for some rain. Watch local listings for the next feeder cattle sale.
