Heifers 400 to 500 lbs mostly steady, 501 to 600 lbs 3.00 to 6.00 higher. Very good demand for today's large calf offering. Many loads and many, many packages on offer including lots of reputation outfits. Quality was mostly attractive throughout the day. The majority of the calves had full preconditioning, or at least on full round of fall shots. Calves were all off the cow in mostly light to moderate flesh. An active market with a house full of buyers, farmer feeders and a few bull breeders in search of replacements. Next feeder cattle sale is Thursday, November 3.
