Heifer calves 400 to 600 lbs 4.00 to 7.00 higher. Good to very good demand for today's large calf offering featuring many packages and loads of attractive quality calves. Calves were all off the cow today in mostly light to moderate flesh. Preconditioning varied, but most calves had at least one full round of shots. Some discounting occurred if the shot record was unsatisfactory. An active market with many order buyers and several farmer feeders in the seats today. Corn harvest is progressing very quickly and will soon be completed. Next feeder cattle sale is Tuesday, October 20, featuring Red Angus calves.
