Moderate to good demand for today's large offering featuring many attractive quality calves in packages and loads, with several large consignments selling multiple loads of same weight cattle. Load lots saw the best demand. Most of the calves were fully preconditioned and in light to moderate flesh off the cow. An active market with a variety of buyers in the seats today. This week has remained dry and cold enabling harvest to progress rapidly. Much of the soybean harvest is completed and corn harvest is well underway. There is much more interest in procuring calves than last week. Next feeder cattle sale is Tuesday, November 5, featuring many of the Red Angus calves that were unable to get in earlier.
