As filed

No sale last week due to hot weather. Compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 950 to 999 lbs 9.00 to 10.00 higher noting that most of the steers from today's sale were off grass and two weeks' ago were out of yards. Good to very good demand for this light offering. Many of the cattle came off grass in light to moderate flesh. Loads and strings were mostly attractive in quality, packages contained some plainer cattle. Market activity mostly active despite the uncertainty of the futures complex the last couple weeks. Temperatures are much cooler this week and some areas received much needed rain at the end of last week, however, many crops and pastures are suffering and many producers are expecting to be cutting silage early this year. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, August 12.
