No recent feeder cattle sales to compare to and develop an accurate price trend. Special Saturday feeder cattle sale today, the first feeder sale of the new year. Good to very good demand for this nice offering featuring many packages and quite a few loads of calves and a string of yearling steers. Most of the calves were long time weaned and had at least one round of fall shots. Flesh varied, but mostly moderate to moderate plus. A nice crowd of buyers and farmer feeders made for an active market. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, January 7.
