As filed

Compared to last week: steers 850 to 1049 lbs 3.00 to 5.00 higher with instances up to 7.00 higher on 850 to 899 lbs. Best test on heifers 800 to 849 lbs and 950 to 999 lbs mostly steady. Good to very good demand for yearlings again this week. Many strings, loads and packages offered with a few more cattle out of lots than last week, however, the majority of the cattle were off grass. Flesh ranged from light to heavy. Quality varied most on packages, from plain to attractive, mostly average to attractive on loads and strings. An active market seen for this offering with plenty of buyers in the seats. Weather remains warm for this time of year with no frost yet. Some bean harvest has started. Next feeder cattle sale is Wednesday, October 2.
