Compared to last week: best test on steers 950 to 999 lbs 2.00 to 7.00 higher, 1000 to 1099 lbs 10.00 to 13.00 higher on a narrow comparison. Heifers not well compared. Very good demand for this light offering of yearlings selling in loads and strings. All cattle came out of yards with flesh condition being mostly moderate to moderate plus. Quality was mostly attractive. An active market with a few less buyers in the seats but still plenty of interest in getting cattle to fill pens including multiple loads of same man's cattle. This was a rainy week for the area which had been getting dry. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, Aug 1, expecting 4000 head with 2500 coming off grass.
