No sale last week due to Good Friday, compared to two weeks ago: best test on steers 900 to 949 lbs mostly steady. Heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for today's large offering featuring many strings and loads of both home raised and backgrounded cattle. Many of the cattle were big, finishing types in moderate to moderate plus flesh with some heavy flesh at times. An active market with many opportunities to buy multiple loads of same weight cattle which buyers took advantage of. Some moisture fell this week but overall the area remains very dry. The lack of moisture has not dampened the enthusiasm to have light cattle to put on grass and the market remains extremely active on these kind of cattle. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, May 2.
