Sale not reported last week due to light receipts and too few cattle today to compare to the large offering two weeks ago so an accurate price trend can not be established. Good to very good demand for this light offering. A large portion of the cattle were backgrounded steers and heifers selling in load lots, and buyers were eager to take all loads of same weight cattle when available. These attractive cattle carried mostly moderate to moderate plus flesh. A few loads of very nice home raised replacement heifers on offer which are headed back to the country to make cows. An active market seen for this offering. Most of the moisture received last week has dried out, many producers are still concerned about the lack of moisture heading into the grazing season. No sale next week due to Good Friday, next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 25.
