As filed

Compared to last week: best test on steers 800 to 849 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 higher, other weight classes not well compared. Best test on heifers 600 to 649 lbs 4.00 to 6.00 higher, 650 to 699 lbs and 750 to 799 lbs mostly steady. Very good demand for feeder cattle today. Many loads and packages available, the majority of these home raised. Slightly less flesh overall than last week as there were a few less finishing type cattle this week. Light, green cattle continue to be very sought after as buyers compete to fill grass orders. An active market with a very positive day in both live and feeder cattle futures lending support to the market. Very nice weather expected for the weekend and beginning of the week. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, March 14.
