Compared to last week: best test on steers 650 to 749 lbs mostly steady with instances up to 6.00 higher on 650 to 699 lbs. Heifers not well compared. Very good demand for this very attractive offering of many packages, loads and several multiple loads of both home raised and backgrounded cattle. Cattle were clean hided and open haired and in mostly moderate to moderate plus flesh. An active market with buyers and farmer feeders competing for cattle. Quite a few multiple load offerings went to the same buyer to fill pens. Dry and mild conditions again this week with no snow. Next week looks colder but still nice for February, this has been an easy winter for feeders and producers. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, February 7.
