Compared to last week: best test on steers 550 to 599 lbs and 650 to 749 lbs steady. Heifers 550 to 599 lbs steady with other weight classes not well compared. Very good demand for today's offering. A few backgrounded and many home raised cattle selling in many packages and a few loads and multiple loads. Flesh mostly moderate to moderate plus, cattle were clean hided and open haired for the most part. Quality varied, but many attractive quality cattle to chose from. An active market seen for this offering. Warmer weather in the forecast for the next week, still no snow across this region. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, January 31.
