Compared to last week: best test on steers 700 to 749 lbs mostly steady with other weight classes of steers and heifers not well compared. Good to very good demand for today's offering featuring quite a few strings of backgrounded cattle as well as packages of home raised cattle. More backgrounding type cattle this week and less flesh overall than last week. Quality similar to last week with most cattle average to attractive in quality. An active market with quite a few opportunities to buy multiple loads to fill pens which buyers took advantage of quite often this week. The area saw a little rain this week but cattle remained clean. Next feeder cattle sale is Friday, April 26.
